What To Expect This MWC 2013

January might  have been the best month for the techie kind of people, as there was CES, but Feburary is definitely going to be the most exciting month for the mobile phone fans, when the Mobile World Congress ( MWC ) kicks off on 25th February in Barcelona.
With companies like HTC, Samsung, Sony, this year's MWC is going to be a thrill when these companies are going to put their best effort to bring out their latest products.
So here we are, as promised by us, to let you guys, out there, know what all is expected to happen this MWC. Here it goes....

HTC
HTC M7 has got a 13 MP camera
HTC is one of the best mobile players in the world, last year it showed us the glorious HTC One series, with HTC One X on top the charts.
2013, however, looks like being another good year for HTC, as we've already seen fairly concrete details of one of its new models leak.
HTC M7 leak's
We expect HTC to bring along its HTC M7 mobile, which, as we've previously seen, is believed to be a quad-core device with a 5-inch 1080p display and 13MP camera.

SAMSUNG
Smasung Galaxy S IV
Samsung is expected to showcase the much hyped Galaxy S IV. But even if it does not, there are many others android phones to be showcased. Earlier this week it launched Galaxy Grand, the same time Micromax announced it's A116 Canvas HD.
However, there's a small chance we may see something really exciting. Samsung's working on hardware powered by the new Tizen OS, a supposed Android rival that Samsung claims it'll be bringing to market some time in 2013.
It is rumoured that there will be new family members in the Note family, which currently have Galaxy Note 2 and the Galaxy 10.1. But the big question for Samsung is whether the Korean Giant will show off its Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, which will feature an 8-inch Super Clear LCD screen, 2GB of RAM, a 5MP camera and a 4,600mAh battery.
Galaxy Note 8
Galaxy Note III
There are also rumours that Galaxy Note III might be launched this MWC. Note III might be powered by an octa-core processor. Named the Exynos 5 Octa, uses ARM's big.LITTLE technology and combines a Cortex A7 with a Cortex A15 chip to gain increases in performance and energy efficiency. Samsung and ARM have claimed that the new processor doubles the performance of the Exynos 4 processor, while halving the power consumption. These new rumours originate from Korea Times, the same news organization that also claimed in December that the Galaxy Note III would come with a 6.3-inch display, an upgrade over the Note II's 5.5-inch screen, that itself was an increase over the original Note's 5.3-inch touchscreen.

SONY
While most of the companies saved their products to be released in MWC in Feb, Sony was the one which showcased it's waterproof Xperia Z and Xperia ZL.
Sony has a reputation of releasing their best product in CES and announcing a couple of smaller models on the same design.
The big question remains that whether we would witness a better phone that Xperia Z or Sony will follow the same hardware plan as last year's.
Xperia Tablet Z might be launched this MWC
Sony may also launch it's rumoured Xperia Tablet Z, which is said to be a companion to Xperia Z. The key spec for this new tablet, the Xperia Tablet Z, would be its thickness, which is rumored to be only 6.9 millimeters. That is already extremely slim for a smartphone, but when compared to other tablets, the Xperia Tablet Z could potentially be the thinnest of them all. Aside from that, the Xperia Tablet Z looks to be one that will pack a lot of muscle under the hood. The rest of the rumored spec sheet includes 1920 x 1200 full-HD resolution for the display, a quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor clocked at 1.5 GHz, 2 GB RAM, 32 GB internal memory, an 8-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel front camera, 4G LTE, NFC and a 6,000 mAh battery.
But Sony is yet to confirm that even if this tablet exists or not. But we think that if it is going to be there at the MWC '13, it's surely going to beat all others out there including the iPad from Apple.

LG
LG Optimus G
As far as LG is concerned, it officially has confirmed that "something new and impressive" will be there in the MWC. The confirmation came in the press conference in the CES earlier this month.
Rumours suggest that there might be a phone with 5.5-inch thickness that might be showcased. The phone is set to feature a full HD screen in that footprint, meaning a 1080p screen in the palm of your hand. NFC is also certain to be included given the brand has taken pains to show how it will launch interconnected home appliances and TV using the contact-less technology.
LG may also release it's glorious Optimus G.

Nokia Lumia 920 might get the PureView tech
NOKIA
Nokia is expected to release a line-up of 6 Lumia based mobile phone, including the Lumia 920. Rumours suggest that Nokia is working on a slimmer version of the Lumia 920, which would use an aluminium body to reduce the weight of it's hefty flagship phone. Some also suggest that Lumia 920 might come up with technology similar to that of PureView - the 41 MegaPixel camera. This rumor comes from Flavio Pic who revealed that this alleged device has been given the codenamed Project EOS.

HUAWEI
Huawei's really made a name for itself in the UK over the last year, thanks to its winning budget Ascend G300 and the recent Ascend G330 update, plus the powerful Ascend P1.
Huawei Ascend P2 leaked
Huawei, earlier this month, at the CES introduced the  Ascend D2 and Ascend Mate, so it's likely to elaborate more on these at MWC 2013 rather than announce many new phones. It's CEO Richard Yu recently slated that " we will be launching two more exciting innovative products at the MWC 2013".
If the leak is to be believed it's going to be the Ascend P2, a 5-inch phone with a quad-core processor. In fact, according to some recently released specifications, Huawei's Ascend P2 is already in the works and looks to improve upon the original in just about every way possible.
Most importantly, the leaked Ascend P2 specifications shows that it will purportedly run Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, and make use of a quad-core 1.8GHz Hisilicon K3V2 processor.
The supposed 5-inch screen will boast a 1,280 x 720 resolution, and the Ascend P2 is also believed to include a 13 megapixel rear camera plus a 1.3MP front-facing snapper.
All of those features are coupled with support for WiFi 802.11, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS, mini USB 2.0, and network support for GPRS, EDGE, HSDPA and HSUPA, along with 2GB RAM and 8GB memory.

That's all from the World's Biggest and The Best Mobile Makers for now, but if we get any further information on any of the new products we will be posting it here.
