CES 2013 : Top-10 Gadgets Showcased

We are back! After researching a lot and after going through every single product unveiled at this year's CES, we have come up with the Top-10 Products Showcased at CES 2013. So here it is.....

1. Nvidia's Game Controller 'Project Shield'

This has to be the best product unveiled at the CES festival this year. This super-device runs on Android OS, therefore making it access the Google Play store. Even after it has the ability to stream games from any PC which has Nvidia's GeForce GTX 650 or from a laptop sporting a GTX 660M GPU. It boasts a multi-touch display with 1280p HD resolution, also sporting a 72-core Tagra 4, which was also unveiled for PC's and Laptops at this year's CES.

2. Panasonic's 20-Inch 4K Tablet

This one runs on Win 8 and is capable of 10-point multi-touch
 This ones far better than Nexus or iPad mini, this 20-inch tablet comes with Windows 8. It has a 4K 'Ultra HD' display with 10 point multitouch. Other specifications are - 1.8GHz Intel i5 3427U vPro processor, 4GB of RAM and Nvidia GeForce graphics. Although with excellent pros there are some cons too, being 20-inch weights about 2.5kg and a battery life of just 2 hrs.

Revealed on day 2, this is a 4K-capable Snapdragon 800 mobile chip was the First-Of-Its-Kind for Qualcomm, boasting a quartet of Krait 400 cores and an improved Adreno 330 GPU. This one is surely going to attract customers.

5. Sony Xperia Z

Because of MWC, which will be held in February this year, most of the companies have saved their smartphones, but Sony thought different and decided to unveil it Xperia Z. Although price has not been revealed yet, Xperia Z features a 1.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm APQ8064 processor, a 5-inch 1080 x 1920 pixel Reality Display and a 13MP camera.

6. Kingston HyperX 1TB Pen Drive

The time's over when people carried pen drives having just a couple of GB's of storage. Kingston, the world's biggest pen drive manufacturer, has launched a 1TB flash drive. Not content with being the biggest storage option for a flash USB drive from Kingston, the DataTraveler HyperX Predator 3.0 USB Flash drive also promises to be the fastest USB 3.0 Flash drive in the Kingston family, with speeds of up to 240MB/s read and 160MB/s write.




7. Samsung NX300

This camera is one of the best products showcased this year at CES. Being a digital camera it sports a fully connected shooter that features a rich, easy to use, and to take great photos. But which is being much hyped about this camera is that it is mirror-less  having interchangeable lens camera is its ability to shoot beautiful HD videos in 3D, yes you read it right in 3D!


8. Panasonic's 4K OLED TV

It's a joint venture between Panasonic and Sony which has produced this 56-inch 4K OLED TV prototype at CES 2013. The company claims that its printing process scales very well. So there’s no reason you can’t print both 24 and 56-inch screens using the same technology. It is also claimed by Panasonic and Sony that this is the world's largest 'OLED' TV.



9. Samsung's 85-Inch UHD TV

It was not just Panasonic which revealed OLED 4K TV, Samsung too is on the same boat. Samsung rolled out the world's largest 4K ultra-high definition TV (UHD TV) offering four times the resolution of 1080p high-definition displays, which is also having a Quad-Core processor inside.

10. Samsung Youm

When Apple launched the iPhone in 2007, its icon-based OS and 3.5-inch touchscreen revolutionized the smartphone. Five years on, we’re still waiting for the next big leap forward in mobile design. Perhaps the Samsung Youm will enable the phones of 2014-2015 to make another leap. This OLED display uses thin plastic instead of glass, making the screen pliable, bendable and almost unbreakable.
